Ro Tasks are first-class work surfaces beside Notes, Projects, Discussions, people, decisions, waiting, and history. Specialist issues can remain in their own systems when that is the better home.
The list is useful. The context is what lets you act.
Most tasks begin somewhere else: a client conversation, a project decision, a note, an unresolved discussion, or a problem discovered while doing other work. Ro keeps those relationships attached instead of reducing the commitment to a title and due date.
A direct preset can create a real Task immediately. Or you can tell an authorized agent what happened and let it propose the semantic Ro commands. Once the work is clear, assignment, blockers, subtasks, waiting conditions, review, and project scope remain part of the same record.

Ro treats the Task as the durable unit of finite work, from first capture through action, waiting, review, and completion.
Tell the staff what happened.
Use a direct Task or Note preset when the kind is obvious, or let an authorized agent propose the organizational meaning. Ro does not create a generic authoritative inbox object or silently invent responsibility.
Keep ownership and readiness explicit.
Assignment says who is accountable. Status, blockers, subtasks, related records, and Project context explain whether the next action can actually happen.
Let a commitment leave today without disappearing.
A Task can wait for a person, date, condition, or external response. When the reason changes, it returns through Attention with the context intact.
Finish the work, not merely the activity.
Results, discussion, review, and attributable history remain on the Task so another person, or an agent you choose, can understand what happened next.
Personal task management without a disposable local mode.
The complete local-only Workspace is a permanent product mode. It needs no Ro account or server, remains useful offline, and includes the CLI and local API.
